Brandwatch connect features

If you have Brandwatch integrated with Sociuu, now it's also possible to push content towards Brandwatch automatically. Adittionally, when importing content into Sociuu via Brandwatch, you can keep the same label names as in Brandwatch, which will be made available in Sociuu as tags.

How to push content from Sociuu to Brandwatch

Step 1. Go to general settings and to the Content Hub area.

How to push content

Step 2. Select the source that you wish to push content from or create a new one.

Step 3. Click on the option "Send to Brandwatch".

All new content will directly be fetched into the Brandwatch content pool and can be picked up there to create a new post.

3.1 "Prevent duplicate" option

If you enable Send to Brandwatch and also Prevent duplicate our platform will make sure that the content pushed towards the Brandwatch pool is not imported again via Brandwatch into our content hub.

This is because we give a label “ignore-on-sociuu” to not get the content back in.  See and example piece of content pushed to Brandwatch with this label:

How to keep same label names as in Brandwatch

When importing content into Sociuu via Brandwatch, you can keep the same label names as in Brandwatch, which will be made available in Sociuu as tags.  This can be setup only if your platform is connected via Brandwatch API and this will be only available on Brandwatch sources.

Step 1. Go to general settings and to the Content Hub area.

How to keep name labels

Step 2. When creating a new Brandwatch source select from the following options

There are two options when you want to import the labels as tags:

  • Prepend Tags from Brandwatch with "f:" : this means that all labels of Brandwatch will be imported with an f:  in front of the tag name.  So for example you have the label news in Brandwatch on your content, then this will visible in Sociuu as f: news.

  • Merge with Existing Tags: in this case the naming of the Brandwatch labels stays the same and will be stored in Sociuu accordingly. If a similar tag name already exists in Sociuu, the tags will be merged to prevent duplicate tag names.  For example, let’s say that via Brandwatch we have the labels "news", "stories", and "HR" that will be imported, and in Sociuu the tags "news" and "HR" already exist. In this case, only "stories" will be added as new tag in Sociuu and the tags "news" and "HR" will get merged.
