Roles and Permissions

In the Roles and permissions area you will be able to assign specific roles with designated access and restrictions to users on the platform.

How to manage Roles and Permissions​​

Step 1. Accessing Roles and Permissions

​

  • Navigate to the Settings area.

  • Click on Roles and Permissions.

Step 2: Create a Role

​

Simply click on the "Create Role" button to create a new role.

2.1 Select the Role Name
Begin by designating a name for the role you intend to create.















 
2.2 Select Role Members
Now you can identify and assign members to the role. Utilize the search bar to find specific users or scroll through the list to select members.

2.3 Select Role Permissions
Define the permissions for the role. You can either manually set each permission or duplicate permissions from an existing role.


















 

PERMISSIONS

​

Grant or restrict access to the Roles and Permissions area by checking the relevant boxes. To deny access, leave all boxes unchecked.

USERS​

​

Assign user management permissions. For example, to allow creating and updating users but not viewing or deleting them, check only "user create" and "user update."

 

Check the right-side box for full permissions, or select individually as needed.

USER GROUPS

 

Manage permissions for usergroup management.

 

For example, for allowing adding and editing user groups only, check "User Group Create" and "User Group Update."

 

Full permissions can be granted by checking the right-side box.

SETTINGS​

​

Determine access to general settings. Check the right-side box for full access or select permissions individually.

CONTENT HUB​

​

Specify permissions for the Content Hub settings. Options include creating, reading, updating, or deleting sources.

 

You can also grant access to post creation from platforms like LinkedIn, Facebook, or RSS.

STATISTICS​

 

Control access to statistical data. Options include viewing and exporting engagement insights, post effectiveness, and user group statistics.

POSTS

​

Define access to post management. "View single post" allows access to specific post information.

SCOREBOARD​

​

Set permissions for scoreboard management, from full creation and deletion rights to deleting only personal scoreboards.

WELCOME EMAIL​

​

Grant permission to edit the welcome email.

2.4 Select the Role Access
​

In the "Access" area you can add specific access parameters by clicking the plus icon. If no specifications are added, the role will have full access to the platform.

  • User Group Access: Define which user groups are visible to this role.

​

  • Source Access: Select which sources this role can access on the platform.

​

  • Tags Access: Choose which tags the role can view on the platform.

Step 3. Manage Already Created Roles

​

To manage an existing role, click the three dots on the right side of the role listing. Options available include viewing, editing, duplicating, or deleting the role.

 

Note that deleting a role is irreversible, and users within the role must be reassigned to a different role.
